The best ratio for SRAM® AXS®? The best ratio for SRAM® AXS®?

The best ratio for SRAM® AXS®?

Compatibility isn’t about chainring size.

It’s about good design.

We get asked a lot about 48/35 for SRAM AXS®.
And it’s a fair question, as it is the official combination the brand offers.

But instead of adding another ratio to our portfolio, we chose a different path to engineer a 50(34) that works flawlessly with AXS®.

We decided not to follow the rules.

Instead of adapting an existing ratio to SRAM AXS, we designed our own, by fully understanding the system and its requirements.
Chainline. Shifting logic. Front derailleur behavior.

That allowed us to introduce a wider jump between chainrings, without compromising shift quality.

The result is a ratio built for riders who want to be fast on favorable terrain, and still keep an extra bullet for the climbs.

What we recommend while using our chainrings?

To get the best experience with our AXS-optimized ratio, we recommend activating Compensating Shift Mode.

Because of the wider jump between chainrings, this setting helps smooth cadence changes, keeping transitions more natural.

A small adjustment.
A big difference in how the system feels on the road.
