Power Up Your QO RACE: Complete Power Meter Guide

The QO RACE crankset was built to perform at the limit: precision-engineered carbon fiber arms, a geometry refined over decades of drivetrain expertise, and tolerances that few brands can match. But if you train seriously, carbon alone isn't enough — you need numbers.

A power meter transforms how you train, race, and recover. It replaces perceived effort with objective data: watts, cadence, left-right balance, pedaling efficiency. No guesswork. No "it felt hard." Just actionable data.

The QO RACE uses a 45-tooth DIN interface — the same modular standard as Rotor crankarms. This means every spider-based power meter designed for that interface mounts directly onto your QO RACE arms.

How Compatibility Works

Compatible power meters for the QO RACE are spider-based power meters: they mount between the crankarms and the chainring, measuring power transmitted through the spider. No crankarm replacement needed — your QO RACE stays exactly as designed.

Additionally, any pedal-based power meter is compatible by definition, since it doesn't interact with the crankset at all.

Spider-Based Power Meters

Rotor INspider ROAD

Official product page

The INspider ROAD is a spider power meter CNC-machined from 7075 aluminum, designed for BCD 110x4, with combined dual-leg measurement and compatibility with Garmin Cycling Dynamics.

At just 12mm thick — half the profile of its predecessor — it weighs 128g and is compatible with most bottom bracket standards on the market, including BSA, BB86, BB386, and T47, for both 24mm and 30mm axles.

It measures combined power from both legs at 120Hz, with a claimed accuracy of ±1.5%, a rechargeable battery lasting up to 350 hours, IP67 waterproofing, and ANT+ and Bluetooth transmission. Works with the ROTOR Power app for advanced pedaling analysis.

Weight Accuracy Measurement Battery Price
128g ±1.5% Combined (L/R estimated) 350h rechargeable ~€599

Best for: Riders who want the most visually integrated solution, with full data and native compatibility with the Rotor ecosystem (Q Rings, OCA, OCP).

Sigeyi AXO and AXO SL (Rotor ALDHU version)

Official product page AXO
Official product page AXO SL

The Sigeyi AXO SL measures power from both legs with a claimed accuracy of ±1.0%, weighs just 80g, and delivers 300 hours of battery life via a magnetic rechargeable cable. It's the lightest and most accurate option on this list.

Compatible with Rotor DIN interface, available in 5-bolt and 4-bolt 110 BCD. The specific version for the Rotor OCP/DIN interface is the AXO SL R110X.

Weight Accuracy Measurement Battery Price
80g ±1.0% Combined (L/R estimated) 300h rechargeable ~€250–350

Best for:
Riders looking for the best accuracy-to-weight-to-price ratio. The most affordable option at ±1.0% accuracy.

Power2max NGeco / NG (Rotor ALDHU version)

NGeco — Official page
NG — Official page

A German brand with a long track record in spider power meters. The power2max NGeco for Rotor is compatible with QO RACE, available in 5-bolt and 4-bolt 110 BCD, and measures power from both legs.

Two versions available: the NGeco (±2.0% accuracy, replaceable CR2450 battery, ~300–400h, 2-year warranty) and the premium NG (±1.0% accuracy, rechargeable battery of ~150h, independent L/R power balance, and a 5-year warranty).

Version Weight Accuracy Battery Price
NGeco ~125g ±2.0% 300–400h (CR2450) ~€300–400
NG ~125g ±1.0% 150h rechargeable ~€650–750

Best for: Riders who value proven European reliability with a long history in this format, or who prefer a replaceable battery (NGeco) over rechargeable.

XCADEY XPOWER-S GEN2 (Rotor / OCP version)

Magene P505 (R110X version for Rotor)

Official product page

The Magene P505-R110X is the version of the P505 specifically designed for Rotor ALDHU, Vegast, and other cranksets using the 45-tooth DIN interface, like QO RACE. It offers ±1.0% accuracy, 200 hours of rechargeable battery life, and transmits power, cadence, L/R balance, and pedaling smoothness.

⚠️ Important note: Magene has recently launched the P515, their next-generation spider, which is only compatible with their own crankarms. Check current availability before purchasing the P505-R110X — the model may be in the process of being discontinued.

Weight Accuracy Measurement Battery Price
~110g ±1.0% Combined (L/R estimated) 200h rechargeable ~€200–300

Alternative: Pedal Power Meters

Pedal power meters don't interact with the crankset. They mount at the pedal axle and are completely independent of the crankarms — meaning your QO RACE stays exactly as we designed it, and the power meter moves between bikes in minutes.

This is the option we recommend for riders who want to preserve the original aesthetic and weight profile of the crankset with zero visual or structural compromise.

The three leading options:

Favero Assioma PRO RS / DUOfavero.com | The benchmark for value-to-performance in power meter pedals. ±1% accuracy via Favero's exclusive IAV Power system, dual-sided, compatible with Look KEO and Shimano SPD-SL. From ~€499.

Garmin Rally RS200 / RS210garmin.com | No visible pod on the axle — they look essentially like standard pedals — with the added advantage of spindle transferability between SPD-SL and SPD pedal bodies. From ~€649.

Wahoo POWRLINK ZEROwahoofitness.com | The lightest power meter pedal on the market, built on the Speedplay platform — the only option if you already ride Speedplay pedals. From ~€649.
